The Eganix Difference
If pictures say a thousand words, we hope ours leave you speechless.
I first noticed Eganix when my highly valued colleague and respected friend, Dan Falkman, President of Syneco Systems, liked a post from a client extolling the results of a recently completed roll-out in their municipality. Specifically, they described how Eganix had helped them completely eradicate FOG (fats, oils, and grease) within their sanitary system. I knew enough to understand that when FOG is eliminated, there is a high likelihood of significantly reducing H₂S as well - not the whole story, but a major contributor.
Curious, I visited their website, and it quickly became evident that these were my kind of people: people who can accomplish very serious things while still remembering to have fun.
I reached out to Dan Falkman and asked whether he happened to know Sean Egan. He did — and more importantly, he launched into how incredible the results Eganix was achieving for their clients, many of which were shared with Syneco. When I learned that the immense growth Eganix has experienced over the past few years had not yet been deployed in Canada, I knew I had an obligation to explore this further.
That led to an introduction to Sean Egan, President of Eganix. Like Dan Falkman, and like me, Sean is focused on delivering products that do exactly what he says they will do. Eganix’s entire solution is grounded in natural biological processes. They have simply found a way to optimize those processes and deliver them in an easy, low-effort manner.
I like to joke that Eganix directly addresses and resolves all the letters of the sewer alphabet - FOG, H₂S, TSS, COD, BOD, and even SSO.
There is so much more I could say, because these are not typically easy problems to solve. As it turns out, it is not “same effluent, different pile,” but rather “same pile, different effluent.”
