Airmax

Best Aeration in the World

Aerators play a vital role in maintaining sufficient oxygen levels and supporting a balanced sanitary ecosystem. A properly sized lift station aeration system helps prevent stratification, reduce oxygen depletion, and limit harmful gas buildup.

Airmax has re-engineered its systems to deliver the most effective, quiet, and easy-to-install lift station aeration available. Each system is built for maximum water circulation and long-lasting performance.

The most effective and efficient aeration system

  • The quietest lift station aeration system available

  • Designed for maximum water movement

  • Simple to install and maintain

  • Warranties: 3-Year – Compressor and Electrical Components | 5-Year – Diffusers and Airline | 10-Year – Cabinet

The ProAir4 Weighted Diffuser combines the performance of multiple air stones with a virtually maintenance-free design. Its sled base ensures perfect placement and reliable operation without sinking into the lift station bottom.

  • PTFE Non-Stick 6" Membrane Diffuser Sticks deliver consistent fine bubbles.

  • Check Valve prevents back pressure on the compressor

  • Innovative Sled Design keeps diffusers upright and securely positioned

The SilentAir RP Series Compressor provides efficient, low-maintenance performance with whisper-quiet operation. Built to last, it powers your aeration system through every season.

  • High-Efficiency Compressor with Rubber Mounts for ultra-quiet operation

  • Air Filter extends compressor life and maintains performance

  • SmartStart Technology (IST) protects the compressor during restarts

  • Airflow Manifold ensures balanced air delivery to each diffuser

  • Quick Disconnects allow easy system removal and storage

  • Pressure Gauge & Relief Valve maintain proper pressure and safeguard components

This isn’t new technology and it’s not particularly unique. There are lots of mechanical aerators used with varying degrees of success in municipal lift stations. That’s a fancy way of saying they “kinda” work.

Full transparency – the Airmax product was never designed nor intended for use in a municipal lift station. It’s actually designed for use in ponds.

So, where’s the “Big Why”, then?

All mechanical aerators, help, however, their effect wears off quickly in municipal sewers, and when it comes to FOG, in the absence of any other technology, effectively emulsify the FOG and simply send the problem downstream.

Airmax, which provides incredibly great “bang for your buck”, would do the same – if it was the only technology in play. It just happens to work in a way that makes it easy to use in lift stations, is highly effective in raising DO (dissolved oxygen) in effluent streams, is easy to install and easy to maintain.

However, when Airmax is teamed up with a proper Eganix biological treatment program, which often includes pairing
a chemical treatment program using calcium nitrate or ferrous chloride provided by others, all of a sudden, 1+1+1 = 10!!

No effluent stream is the same – so, no solution can be the same.
